We might have bitten off more than we can chew...

You win some and you learn.

That is the theme when you buy homes at auctions.


Our last buy has proven to be the most difficult to date.

From the eviction process to the condition of the home. It's all been worse case scenario.


Here are a few "before" photos to give you an idea of what we have been managing.

To even begin to get rid of this it took ONE LARGE crew, EIGHT large dumpsters, ONE machine rental and MANY MANY more days than we would have liked.


The total cost was close to $15k. Budget was $7k.


This is ONE example of why you build in budget contingencies.

You just never know what you are going to actually get.


The good news?

The home is safer, the neighborhood is safer and the after is going to be absolutely amazing!
